Mr. Stephen Austin

Mr. Austin has been teaching at North Salem since September 2009. He currently directs the HS Concert Band and Jazz Band and the 6th Grade Band. He also teaches 7th & 8th grade instrumental lessons and HS Chorus sight-singing.

Before arriving in North Salem Mr. previously taught at Middletown HS (NY) where he was director of the Wind Ensemble, Concert Band, Jazz Band and Marching Band. Mr. Austin has also been on faculty with the East Ramapo Schools, SUNY Orange, McNeese State University and the Franklin County (KY) Schools.
